5 Metres of Handspun Aran Weight Art Yarn

The yarn started as a handspun single strand, with Shetland wool which was plied with bits of fabric from other projects and autowrapped with pink cotton thread.  It mostly an aran weight yarn but there are some variations in thickness.

Lisa has taken a single strand of handspun Shetland wool and plied it with bits of fabric which has been autowrapped with pin cotton thread.  It is mostly an aran weight yarn with variations in thickness in some places. 

The colours have been carefully chosen to sing together, and resulting in richly textured spirals that could be worn as decorative 'jewellery', bracelets, garlands, or necklaces.

Or the yarn can be used as decorative twine, for wrapping gifts and presents, used in the garden to tie plants, used to make curtain ties etc.
