Yellowhammer - hand dyed with Goldenrod and Comfrey Pure Merino Wool - DK
Hand dyed in Leicestershire
Our yarns are hand dyed with natural botanical materials. Yellowhammer is dyed using Goldenrod and Comfrey giving subtle yellow green shades that remind us of the colouring seen in the Yellowhammer bird. One end of the skein has been dipped into a Goldenrod dye bath giving a yellow shade and the other end dipped into a Comfrey dye bath giving a green/beige shade, which together give a striped effect as you will see from the knitted swatch above.
This yarn is durable and easy to handle with a soft feel that can be worn next to the skin.
Our yarns are colourfast and have been throughly rinsed after they have been dyed.
