Heron - hand dyed with black beans Pure Merino Wool - DK
Hand dyed in Leicestershire
Our yarns are hand dyed with natural botanical materials. Heron is dyed using black beans (turtle beans), giving subtle bluey grey tones that reminds us of the colouring seen in the Heron bird. This yarn is durable and easy to handle with a soft feel that can be worn next to the skin. One end of the skein has been dipped into the dye bath for longer period of time giving a darker to lighter grey/blue graduated shade, which gives a striped effect as you will see from the knitted swatch above.
Our yarns are colourfast and have been throughly rinsed after they have been dyed.
