Below is a listing of workshops that I will be running at various locations around Leicestershire.  If you are interested in any of these workshops, by clicking on the link in the “book” section, you will be taken to the host venue site where you can find out about costs and booking.

Rag Rug Making: Amish Knot RugsParticipants will learn how to make yarn from recycled textiles found in the home. This yarn will then be used to make a knot rug similar to those made in the traditional Amish communities of Pennsylvania.  Amish knot rugs are very easy to master and the results are quick to achieve. It is unlikely that a complete rug will be made in one session but participants will learn all the skills they require to start their rug and will then have the confidence to complete their project at home. This workshop is suitable for anyone who is physically able to make knots with their fingers and cut with scissors as well as follow simple instructions. Sat  6th April 2013 2:00 till 5:00pm Beauty and Utility Arts  Further information and booking
